| While
employed with GTE, Pastors Randy and Lori Dryer began a home Bible
Study seeking more of God and a heart to see both Jew and non-Jew
come together as one people and started attending various conferences
and initiated tours to Israel. As the number of people grew, the
Dryers received a calling from God to birth their own congregation.
The result of this calling was Tabernacles of Praise worship ministry
in 1996. Pastor Dryer was eventually ordained under the ministry
of Simchat Torah Beit Midrash, out of Denver, Colorado.
Being a Hebrew roots ministry, Tabernacles of Praise later changed
the name of their congregation to the Hebrew translation Beit
Tehila Congregation (House of Praise.) The worship arts team continues
in the name of “Tabernacles of Praise” as they travel
about and minister in different congregations and conferences
the restoration of Hebrew roots.
Since
1996, the fellowship has grown considerably. The Dryers have continued
to take groups to Israel annually where the Tabernacles of Praise
Dance and Worship Team has ministered numerous times.
Pastor Dryer began a Monday night Torah Study in his home, which
started with a few people, but after a short while had to move
to a hotel to accommodate the number of people attending. In 1999,
Randy took an early retirement from GTE to pursue full time ministry.
The affairs of the fellowship kept him very busy.
Beit Tehila congregation is presently in a building program and
is looking forward to hosting its Annual Worship Conference “The
Restoration of the Tabernacle of David.” It is Pastor Dryer’s
heart to build a community of believers and to train worship leaders
and Torah teachers to send out to build other communities.
Pastor Randy passed on to the heavenly kingdom November the 17th,
2002 and it was his heart and vision for Beit Tehila to continue
to move forward in what God has called us to. He reminded us continually
that the vision of this ministry was not about him, but our heavenly
Father and His work on this earth.

Pastor Randy's son-in-law, Nick Plummer was ordained
in April of 2002. Nick and Danielle Plummer now reside
as Pastors of Beit Tehila Congregation. Lori Dryer (widow)
known as Tikvah Dryer still resides as Dance/Worship Arts
leader and minister to the women of the congregation. |
